BIGBANG has announced the addition of ‘BIGBANG Alive Tour 2012 In Japan’ Special Final in Dome
and this will be BIGBANG’s first “Dome concert” tour ever!
Big Bang will hold their first Japanese ‘Dome concert’ on November 23rd at the Osaka Kyocera Dome,
and on December 5th at the Tokyo Dome!BIGBANG was scheduled to hold 10 performances for the Alive World Tour around 5 cities in Japan. However, due to much demand, Big Bang decided to add the Dome concerts in addition to their tour dates.
It seems like BIGBANG will attract 255,000 fans in Japan and total 605,000 fans from all over the world. Meanwhile, BIGBANG has kicked off their tour in Japan today (May 17th) with the first stop being Nagoya.

[KPOP] Big Bang Becomes First Asian Artist to Win ′Best Fan′ Award at 2012 MTV TRL Awards

Big Bang became the first Asian artist to win the ‘Best Fan’ category at the 2012 MTV TRL Awards.

The event, which was held in Italy on the evening of May 5, awarded Big Bang as the final winners of the night.

Other nominees of the ‘Best Fan’ category included Avril Lavigne and One Direction, but they were no match for Big Bang, who became the first artists in Asia to ever snag the award.

The ‘Best Fan’ award is selected by fan all around the world by online votes.

Big Bang stated through YG Entertainment, “We are extremely happy and honored to receive an award at the MTV TRL Awards. We thank our fans all around the world for cheering us on.”

Meanwhile, Big Bang will hold an arena tour in Japan starting May 17.

[Kpop] Big Bang and 2NE1 to Release Japanese Album on Same Date March 28

Big Bang and 2NE1 will release their albums at the same time in Japan on March 28. YG Entertainment’s Japanese agency YGEX stated, “We are releasing the albums at the same time because the fans overlap. We believe that we will be able to provide more happiness for fans.”

Big Bang’s new mini album “ALIVE” will have 9 songs. After the album is released Big Bang will hold a Japanese tour that will go through five different cities starting from May 17.

G-Dragon had showed his will to pursue Japanese activities at the YG Family Concert, “I will try harder so that fans don’t have to worry.”

2NE1

For 2NE1 this will be the first release of an official album. Although the name of the album has not been revealed yet, it appears that the songs will be the ones that were loved by fans. The album will contain Japanese versions of “Fire” and “I Don’t Care.”
